We help you make your
flight simulator the best
it can be!
What is the difference between the Desktop Airliner cockpit, the Easy Airliner
cockpit and the
Universal Airliner cockpit?

Desktop Airliner D200
This was the first desktop airliner enclosure project I attempted.

Materials:  EPS only for the body panels.  This is because the corners are curved and 1/2"
EPS is flexible.  There is  more info about EPS here
http://www.rogerdodger.net/diyflightsims/eps.html

Monitors:  It can accommodate 1, 2, or 3 monitors because the height and width of the frame
can be adjusted during the build.

Keyboard Mod:  It includes the first unpainted version of the Airliner Keyboard Mod

Easy Airliner D222
This was the second desktop airliner enclosure project I created.  It's a little more refined
than the first.

Materials:  D222 requires a basement window well cover.  Not all parts of the country sell
those.  You can use EPS or XPS for the body panels.  There is more information about XPS
at the above link.

Monitors:  It can accommodate 1, 2, or 3 monitors only if the monitors are not wider than the
window well cover.  The window well cover restricts your ability to make the PVC frame any
wider than the window well cover.

Keyboard Mod:  It includes the Gray Airliner Keyboard Mod, including instructions for
painting the keyboard.

Universal Airliner D240
This was the third desktop airliner enclosure project I created.  I developed a new way of
attaching the PVC pipe so that we're not entirely restricted to 90 degree and 45 degree
angles.  This requires more work, but it's pretty cool.  The lighting is better in this video.

Materials:  D240 Requires materials like plumber's putty and zip ties that are not required in
the other projects.  You can use EPS or XPS for the body panels.  There is more information
about XPS at the above link.

Monitors:  It can accommodate 1, 2, or 3 monitors because the height and width of the frame
can be adjusted during the build.

Keyboard Mod:  It includes the Gray Airliner Keyboard Mod, including instructions for
painting the keyboard.
