The Air Combat Training System (ACTS) is based at Roger Dodger Aviation, LLC in Roeland Park, Kansas. ACTS consists of a pair of identical single-seat high-performance flight simulators. The simulators feature aircraft controls, projected screens and view tracking systems.
Is this just a video game? No. Video games are simply diversions, our activities stress airmanship and coordination with teammates. For example, real pilots usually do not excel at video games, but they are quite effective in our flight simulators.
The Roger Dodger Aviation Club is similar to aviation groups like the Experimental Aircraft Association, or the Commemorative Air Force. The major difference is we have a lot of fun with elaborate flight simulators. We feature modern jet combat and historical dogfighting.
