What to Expect
We will fly a trusty Cessna 172 from
the CHARLES B. WHEELER KANSAS
CITY DOWNTOWN AIRPORT. After a
preflight inspection of the aircraft and
short briefing, we will take off and fly
to the Plaza !
We will orbit the Plaza a couple of
times, so you get a good look at it and
then return for landing.

Flight time: about 30 minutes from
engine start to shut-down. Total time
out of your evening: about 60
minutes.
We can take 2 or 3 passengers.

FUN! EDUCATIONAL!

During your flight, you learn a little about what piloting
an airplane is like! See a demonstration of the
following interesting things:
* When on the ground, we steer an airplane with our
foot pedals.
* We check the airplanes systems and engine before
flying.
* We have flight instruments, but the two most
important ones are our eyes!
* You may hear your pilot talk to other airplanes or the
tower on the radio.
* When we descend, the engine gets really quiet
because the power is reduced.
* No gas pedal. Airplanes have a throttle knob.

Helpful Tips...
* Bring a jacket. It can get a little
chilly up there.

* Please schedule your flight at
least a couple of days in advance.

* Your pilot will call you on the day
of your flight to confirm it.

* If there are weather issues, we
will re-schedule your flight for
another night at no additional
charge.

* The passenger load must be
balanced properly for the airplane
to fly right. For this reason, the
following limitations apply:
Back Seat: Maximum passenger
load = 400 lbs total
if we exceed that, it's no problem, I'll
just need one person to ride up
front with me.
Total Passenger Load = 500 lbs
If 3 passengers weigh less than 500
lbs total, we can take everyone on
one flight.

* Camcorders are welcome

* PLEASE NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY
during the flight. The pictures will
not turn out and you will temporally
blind your pilot.
We can take some really great
pictures next to the airplane before
or after the flight !

* Will you get airsick? Probably not.
Night flights are usually smooth
and your pilot will not make abrupt
maneuvers.
(Abrupt maneuvers may be offered
on future flights).

* You can keep your shoes on! You
will not be frisked for weapons of
mass destruction.

* Please, no smoking in or around
the aircraft. Thanks.
